Poppy Austin Green Tea and Vitamin C Eye Brightening Moisturizer review

Hey guys!  I've been on a bit of a beauty hiatus,  but I'm back and ready to get my blog on!
To welcome me back to the land of beauty Ashley so kindly informed me of my LOVELY eye bags. Having a teenager will do this to a girl.... So to help me out a little bit she had me use this wonderful eye brightening green tea and vitamin C cream by Poppy Austin.

Retail Value: $75.55

Now I'm not one to use this kind of thing. Lotions and such usually break me out REALLY bad or go 100% in the opposite direction and dry my face out like the Sahara desert, but I gave it a shot. My eyes also seem to be rather sensitive to things as I can't even use eye primer. Aaaaaand I might've been a little skeptical about it.... Since I've never really used anything like this I just wasn't sure what kind of results to expect.

I used just a pea sized amount and rubbed it underneath my eyes (to the top of my cheekbone) and around the top of my eye (to my eyebrow). I waited just a few minutes before checking to see if I could tell a difference and I was pleasantly surprised! My bags had already started to go away and the dark circles started to lighten up.  I waited about 15-20 more minutes and they were barely noticeable.
I really hadn't expected that drastic of a change so fast. I was also impressed with how it didn't break me out or dry my face out and even better it didn't irritate my eyes! I seriously had to refrain from using it all over my face! I'd say this cream is worth purchasing if you're prone to those pesky bags.

If you're having trouble with dark circles or any puffiness under your eyes, I highly HIGHLY recommend checking this product out!! CLICK HERE for more information or to buy it on Amazon! PLUS it's on sale right now for only $22.55, which is an awesome deal for such a high quality product that works great on sensitive skin!

Later!

Madison Reed Root Touch Up Kit Review!!

Hey Ladies!! I don't know if you remember, but a while back I posted about one of my new favorite companies, Madison Reed!! They send out HIGH QUALITY at-home hair dye kits and have recently added a new product to their line; They're Root Touch-Up Kit.

Root Touch Up
I usually wait awhile between dyes so my hair has a chance to heal up after being bleached and fried, so I figured this would be an excellent product for me to test! I was lucky enough to receive a sample to review and share with you guys so here it is! It's also designed to cover up any of your greys that might be showing through between dyes!!! It comes in a purple super portable compact with a nice little mirror like shown above and is so CUTE!

Here's my actual kit I received. It also comes with a little carrying pouch which is a nice touch. Madison Reed has the best packaging. They really take pride in their products!

My hair is currently dyed blonde from being very naturally dark brown, so honestly, it was a little bit hard to review it on my hair. I ordered the light brown shade and while it doesn't lighten my roots to the color I really needed them to be, if you have actual light brown hair it would work perfectly. I will say that these kits cover greys like a BOSS! I've used my kit on my husband as well as my cousin's husband, both of which have light brown hair with lots of greys showing through and they were GONE. We were basically amazed!!! This product is amazing and unlike regular dye, it is a powder and washes out between uses. It also kind of works like a dry shampoo and soaks up excess oil and leaves your hair nice and volumized. If they'd come out with a few more colors I think this product would be sheer perfection!!

And here's the shade I chose in light brown.Seems a teensy bit dark.

And ingredients!

Here's a really nice before and after shot courtesy of Madison Reed. It REALLY does work this well!

And here is how you apply it:

Root Touch Up
Essentially you just brush it on like makeup for your hair! Easy Peasy!

So yeah! If you're in between dyes, or frequently find yourself stressing out about grey hairs showing, then you should DEFINITELY check out this product, as well as their regular dyes and gloss kits! This is an AMAZING company with high-quality products that you can tell they have really put care into designing and making work great! You can purchase the Root Touch-Up Kit in 8 different shades HERE for $29.95!

Here's my after photo after doing the left side you can see in the picture. While it obviously didn't turn my hair blonde since I picked light brown, you can tell a different that it made my brassiness go away and makes my hair fade to blonde much better! I'm kicking myself now for not ordering the blonde color!!

One final thought: I've been a member of Madison Reed's affiliate program for awhile now, and honestly it's the one I've made the most money off of and the one that in my opinion, has the most incentives. From free products to try, to randomly bonuses for posts, to affiliate referral bonuses, I HIGHLY recommend you join them and become an affiliate too if you're interested in this kind of thing. They just recently added a color glossing kit to their line so I'm sure they will have some good sample posts for that coming up soon!!! If you're interested in becoming an affiliate for Madison Reed like me, it's totally FREE, and you can sign up using my link HERE and I would appreciate it times a million!! I've never had an affiliate company work with my so hands on to make sure I'm successful like they do! Thanks Char from their affiliate team for being awesome!!!

Later!

Dot & Dot Small Packing Organizer Review!

Today I'm bringing you a review of some awesome packing organizers that I received awhile ago and have been meaning to review! They're from a company called Dot & Dot and they are wonderful!!
Here's a picture for your reference:

The ones I actually received are the Slim cubes. Here's a photo of one of them in action.

I recently had to pack up my entire life into a Uhaul, and these organizers have saved my makeup life. I used them to separate out all of my makeup out and they've made it super easy to carry it all around where ever I need to go. They're really well made and a zipper that can go anyway you need it to, and you can stack them up neatly into a suitcase if need be.

Anyone who travels often or has a big trip coming up definitely needs to get a set of these for all the small things they need to carry! I would definitely purchase more of these in another size to organize more stuff in!! Aside from carrying around my makeup, before I had to move I used them just to store things and it made it so much easier to find everything!

You can check them out on Amazon HERE. They come in tons of colors like red, pink, green, black, and blue and only cost $24.97 for a set of 4! These are great!!!

Until later,

CrowdTap Kleenex Review!

Recently, I was given the opportunity to try out two different kinds of Kleenex via Crowd Tap to review!! If you guys don't know what Crowd Tap is, it's basically an awesome site that you can team up with brands and do small tasks, that will sometimes (for me it's been pretty frequent!) get you in the running to win monthly prizes (gift cards, free stuff, etc.) or even get free samples to try out!! It's quickly becoming one of my favorite sites to get free stuff to blog about/review, and I have a couple packages on the way right now!

If you'd like to sign up for CrowdTap, which I HIGHLY recommend to everyone, you can do so by clicking this link HERE! It's FREE and there are tons of brands, which is great if you're a blogger!

ANYWAY! So I received two fullsize boxes of Kleenex to give my opinion on. I received a box of Kleenex with Lotion, which I already use and love, and also a box of Kleenex Anti-Viral!

I've been using Kleenex brand tissues with lotion for years and love them! When you're sick these are great because they don't make your nose hurt if you're blowing it all the time! I also like to use them for removing eye makeup, since they are less harsh than regular paper tissues. These are super strong too, so they don't tear up if they get wet!

The Anti-viral tissues are new to me and I love the concept! With the flu going around like crazy, I really like the idea of these. As for if they really work or not, I have no idea of really knowing. However, I am currently residing in a house full of people who have been sick lately, and I haven't gotten sick yet! *Knock on wood* These are also high quality, very durable tissues!!! I recommend Kleenex to EVERYONE! They're the only brand of tissues I buy! I wish they'd combine lotion and anti-viral together to make one BADA** Tissue product!

PLUS!! I have a coupon to share with you guys from CrowdTap!
CLICK HERE for the printable coupon to save $1.50 off any two boxes of Kleenex tissues!!

See you guys later with more reviews!! Happy 2015!
