Pure & Essential Minerals Dead Sea Mud Mask Review!

I know I'm PROBABLY like overposting right now by doing two posts back to back BUT I'm really super excited about this one, SO BARE WITH ME!

I LOVE IT!!!!!! Love is really an understatement here, this mask made my face feel so ridiculously clean, I'm about to use it again right now.

Meet the Dead Sea Mud Mask. It's a greyish, not as thick as most masks I use, ALL NATURAL face mask. ALL natural! When I first put it on, it kind of burned a little, I'm not going to lie, but I suspect that is because I had just done a microdermabrasian on my face. :) Leave this bad boy on for 5-10 minutes until its dry, then use circle motions to rinse it off and WHAM, super clean, exfoliated, silky smooth face. Ryan felt my face last night after I used it, and was like okay, okay I will do it too. It's THAT good.

Healing Tree Bamboo Charcoal Soap Review & Giveaway!!!!

Today I am bringing you a review of my new favorite soap and another GIVEAWAY!!!!! It's from a company called The Healing Tree, and is an all natural, fragrance free soap made out of Bamboo Charcoal. I've used a charcoal scrub for my face before that left my face feeling SUPER clean, so I was definitely excited to try something out for my body as well!

For those of you who have never used this type of soap before, charcoal soap has tons of benefits for your skin. Mainly:

• More absorptive than regular soap
• Detoxifies the skin
• All natural
• Removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores
• Leaves you with smoother skin
• Fragrance free

Some people say this soap can be a little drying to your skin, because it does basically remove all of the junk out of you, but I moisturize like a maniac anyway, so I don't see any drying. It left my skin feeling super soft after my shower. The one I received is actually a blackish color, like you'd expect charcoal to be, not the greenish color in the picture above. It however doesn't make a big huge mess or anything. While this product is fragrance free, I think it has a nice, clean scent to it and I really really enjoy it. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for super clean skin, without that nasty soapy residue that you sometimes experience with other bar soaps and shower gel. I have had these little bumps all over my arms for years, and was diagnosed with keratosis pilaris a few years back, and I'm hoping that this soap will help with my condition! I will definitely keep you updated!!

Flirty Little Secret Firming Bronzer Review!

Today I am bringing you a review of an AWESOME product that I got to try out courtesy of Tomoson. It's called Flirty Little Secret Firming Bronzer. I LOOOVE body bronzers so I was pretty thrilled to test this out.

Now, I want to start by saying that this is not a self tanner, just a body bronzer, so it will wash off in the shower. However, it gives you an instant, perfect, non orange, beautiful fake tan. I also love that it has shimmers in it that make you basically glow in the sun. You have to rub it in pretty quickly to make sure that it doesn't end up streaky though because the firming stuff in it makes it dry up pretty quickly. 

This bronzer makes you about 2-3 shades darker without making you orange. As far as the pheromones go, I don't really know because I can't smell myself, but I'm sure they work too!

Here's my actual bottle I received. I definitely have to compliment them on their packaging! I just love it, but maybe I'm just a sucker for shiny things! :)

Here you can see the shiny brownish color and consistency of the lotion. It goes on super smooth as well, which is a big plus in my book.

AND last but not least you can see here the difference it immediately made to my skin tone. I know this isn't the best lighting or quality of photo, but you can definitely tell that my left leg is significantly darker than the right. I wish I had gotten a sunlight picture so you could see the shimmer in it!

My overall opinion of this product is I absolutely LOVE it and am definitely going to continue using it once I run out!!

Ipsy May 2014 Unboxing & Review!

This month marks my ONE YEAR with Ipsy!!! So, today I bring to you my May Ipsy Glam bag.

This month, there were a TON of different items and a bunch that I wanted. Unfortunately I didn't get exactly what I would have loved to have, but overall it was still a pretty good month.

My favorite part of the bag this month is actually the bag itself. It is SOOO cute and a kind of canvas like material and I absolutely love it. It's going to be my new lipgloss bag for sure!

Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo #1 in Celestial and Opal - Value $7

First up is an eyeshadow from Pacifica. I received eyeshadow duo #1 in Celestial and Opal. As for quality, it's a really nice shadow. It has a really smooth texture, and had I received the other shade, I probably would have really loved it. I'm not a huge fan of purple shadows though. I love Pacifica's products though.

Boo-Boo Cover Up Concealer - FULL SIZE! Value $19.99

Next is a concealer called Boo-Boo Cover Up. I'd definitely never heard of this in my life until I received it, and that is one thing I really love about Ipsy. I was kind of skeptical I'm not going to lie, but this stuff is AWESOME. It covers up EVERYTHING!!! Dark Circles, Age Spots, Acne, you name it. Freaking awesome, new favorite concealer. I received this in medium and it seems a little light, but it blends in pretty well. It contains ingredients that promote healing as well, so it will help your imperfections get better.

Balanced Guru No Frizz Oil - Travel Size Value $13

I'm all about getting stuff to make my hair better right now, so this is a pretty great sample for me. I received the travel size version of Balanced Guru's no frizz oil with organic sesame, grapeseed, jojoba, and tamanu oils. This stuff smells reallllllly good too and made my hair frizz free on a hot and humid day here in Tennessee. Love it!

Hang Ten Classic Body 50 SPF Sunscreen - Value $2.17

I also received a very handy sunscreen from Hang Ten. This is yet another brand I've never heard of in my life. Apparently it is affiliated with Coola, which I don't really love... so I don't know if I'm going to love this. I do however work in the sun so I'm going to test it out on my face. I found it to be a little bit on the runny side which is unfortunate, but it's not greasy, which is good. Here's another picture to show you.

Avene Thermal Spring Water - Value $9

Okay so this one really confuses me.... I don't really understand the whole idea of paying a very high amount of money to spray spring water on your face when you can literally open a bottle of water or turn on a faucet and do the same. This, Ipsy, is a miss.

Valentia Skincare Even Glow Serum Review!

Today I am bringing you a review of another GREAT serum that I am testing out courtesy of Tomoson.
This one is called Even Glow Serum, by Valentia Skincare. It's 99% natural, 20% vitamin C, and packed with other awesome ingredients such as Organic Rosehip Seed Oil & Sea Buckthorn oil, Resisthem, hyaluronic acid, and green tea extract, to give you, guess what, beautiful, GLOWING skin!!!

The first thing I want to say about this serum, is that it is definitely much different than the other similar ones I've tried. Unlike most, it has a nice orange tint to it, and smells pleasant, like tea, and not like chemicals at all. Some of the Vitamin C serums that I have tried pretty much reeked of chemicals and this one does not. It's also a little thicker than the others, so you don't have to use as much. It leaves my skin feeling tight and refreshed. I've only been using it about a week so far, and I can't wait to see what it does for my skin. So far my acne is clearing up and I've lost a little bit of redness in my face!

One other thing I want to mention about it is that I love the packaging. The box is classy, and doesn't look cheap like some of the other vitamin C serums I've seen out there.

Instanatural 100% Emu Oil Review!

So today I am bringing you a review of a pretty interesting product! I was sent a bottle of 100% Pure Emu oil from Instanatural last week courtesy of Tomoson to test out. At first I was like... Emu oil.... okay that is pretty weird, but I checked out what it's used for, and it's pretty awesome!!!
Emu oil can be used for TONS of different things. Hair, stretch marks, as a moisturizer, acne, and as a wrinkle reducer. It has TONS of fatty acids in it that are SUPER great for your hair and skin.

The first thing I want to mention about this product is that I was extremely pleased to find out that it has literally no scent to it. I was expecting a weird scent considering it comes from an EMU, but it doesn't really smell like anything. It has a thickish, white consistency to it, and a little goes a long way!!! I've been using it in my hair to bring back some of the life to it, and it really has helped. My hair is FRIED from bleaching it from black to blonde, so a great leave in conditioner was what I needed. The first time I used this I basically drenched my hair in it and left it in overnight. After washing and conditioning my hair, it was left soft, bouncy, and significantly less dry. I've been using about 6 pumps of it as a leave in ever since, and I feel like it is really helping my hair.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has extremely dry, brittle hair. I haven't used it as a moisturizer yet, but I'm sure it would be awesome for that too! I would DEFINITELY repurchase this product!!! It's great!

Pretty & Polished Candy Coated Swatch & Review!

Time for another tiny piece of my Pretty & Polished May Beauty box!!!

This time it's "Candy Coated"! I received a mini of this baby in my box this month and I LOVE it. It's one of those things I didn't realize that I needed until I owned it.
I love it SO much. It's like the perfect baby pink with adorable purple glitter in it. I don't know how I lived without it before and it is literally perfect for Spring!! :)

Pretty & Polished Tales of Lagoona Review & Swatches!!

So I've decided to take a different approach to reviewing my May Beauty box from Pretty & Polished. I'm going to review a different polish from it in separate posts throughout the week and then do one BIG post of everything. That way I don't have to rush and swatch them all at once and not be able to wear them.

Aqua 41 Perfume & Cologne Review and Giveaway!!!

Aqua 41 is a brand of fragrances "inspired by the deep blue". I personally love the oceans, and I really love both of these scents, especially the men's, and I can definitely see how these scents relate to the ocean. The cologne has a nice, crisp, masculine scent, that reminds me of laying out on the beach and listening to the waves. The perfume, on the other hand, is a deeper, muskier scent, reminiscent of a sunset on the beach.

Like I already said, I really love these two fragrances, especially the men's. It smells so so so good, I could literally sit around and sniff my husband all day long. I like a man with a nice, clean, crisp cologne on him, I mean who doesn't!? I can't smell myself really when I wear the women's, but he says it also smells really nice!
