January 2014 Birchbox Unboxing!

I'm so glad I didn't cancel Birchbox after December's subpar one. January's box was AWESOME!! I'm super happy with everything I received I even got the Nail Rock color I was wanting! :)
The best part about Birchbox is it's only $10 a month for a box full of 4-5 Deluxe Samples (sometimes fullsize) of higher end brands. They also offer "Birchbox finds" that are drugstore brands. This month's contained a coupon for $3 off Burt's Bees!
If you'd like to sign up, please use my referral link HERE!
Another great thing about Birchbox is you accrue points for reviewing your items, and you can redeem them for fullsize products in their store, or even a gift subscription and get extra boxes for free! :)
Spoiler Alert!

Here's a first look! I love how they package their boxes. It's a nice change from everything being thrown in a pink Ipsy bag :)
Second look! The flash stopped working on my phone, but here is everything packed in all nicely.
Here's everything I received:
Nail Rock In Dark Blue Nail Velvet - FULL SIZE! Value - $7
Juicy Couture La La Perfume - Sample Size -Value - $1
Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Creme - Deluxe Sample 1.6oz-Value - $6
Inika Mineral Eyeshadow in Eternal Marine FULL SIZE! Value - $20
Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Day Lotion -Sample Size - Value - $2.50

As you can see the value of this box is GREAT compared to Decembers! Plus these are all products I will actually use!
I only paid $10 for the box and received approximately $36.50 worth of products!!
They also send a card that explains the products which is really nice.
And here is a better look at the eyeshadow. You can't really tell here but its really greyish blue and shimmery. It's super pretty.
One more for good measure.
Now, I tried the Nail Rock last night, it was really awesome at first even though it was a little bit difficult to clean up. You just paint two coats of the regular nail polish, then dip your nails in the velvet powder and let them dry 10-15 minutes. Only problem is, it mostly washes off in the shower and throughout the day, so most of my mani is already gone. It's also hard to do it neatly and the blue is so dark it's hard to clean up. It's good for a night out though or special occasions! Or if you want to pet your nails all day!

I also tried the Glossing creme. It made my hair SOOO soft pretty much instantly. This is something I am really excited to add to my hair routine because my hair is so fried and impossible to deal with.
The perfume smells SUPER great  but I'm a sucker for Juicy Couture perfume, so I'm probably biased.
The Burts Bees seemed to go on pretty smoothly on my hands, and I can see how it would make your face really soft, but the scent is a little bit strong for me. I like to use things that are more unscented on my face!
So! That is my box this month! What did you guys get!? Anyone get any other color of Nail Rock? I'd love to see them!!!
Don't forget if you want to subscribe make sure and go through my link HERE! This is only my second month and so far I love them!
Be on the lookout for an Ipsy Unboxing and My first Glam Box LLC! :D

  1. I love the Fekkai glossing line! Great sample! This was a really great box! I quit Birchbox a couple years ago but I love seeing what everyone else gets. Thanks for sharing with us!

    1. I'm really surprised that I love it so much. I'm so weird about putting things in my hair. lol But I guess it's so fried from dying and straightening that anything helps!!

  2. Very cool! I really want to try that Nail Rock color. Another blogger received the Nail Rock caviar. This is definitely better than Ipsy already. Getting full sized products is awesome.
